Extremely clean and original quarter sawn Brazilian back and sides with 1950s aged German Spruce top.  I supplied the wood and it was from my very best stash.
I have owned 20 or so of these Velazquez guitars over the years because I believed in him as a builder and as a person.  He was an incredible builder and an incredible human being.  This guitar is one of the very best I have seen any where. Rodgers tuners with MOP buttons are extraordinary!
